A few crappy photos from Nick Knight's creation at Somerset House. A couple of things I particularly liked were the giant sculptures of Naomi Campbell at the entrance whereby a touch screen allowed visitors to select a colour and make their mark (obviously couldn't resist writing my name...). I also enjoyed the other touch screen activity, a digital version of the old game Misfits. Really like these kind of interactive techniques and is something to bear in mind for our own exhibition.
Our names are Tessa, Laura and Jo, our course is Fashion Marketing and Communication and we study at Nottingham Trent University.
As a team we have been put in charge of organising, promoting and producing FMC’s final degree show and are hoping to use this blog to archive the development of our thoughts and ideas.
We want this space to work as an ever growing record of our experiences, exhibitions we’ve visited, images we’ve seen, and people we’ve met that influence and inspire our work.
